Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wood dives in and scores a takedown into Kelly's guard.

Wood is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Kelly pushes Wood off and scrambles back to his feet.
Kelly slaps away a takedown attempt from Wood, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Wood looks for a takedown but Kelly sprawls well.
Wood darts in looking for a takedown but Kelly gets double underhooks and turns Wood into the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeffery Wood. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wood is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Kelly shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Wood is trying to defend but Kelly finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wood has hold of Kelly's hands but Kelly slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Kelly thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Wood moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Kelly avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Wood is breathing heavily.
Wood tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Kelly is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kelly postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Wood covers up, he's hurt! Kelly keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Kelly and the ref steps in to end the fight! Kelly can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
