The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knight shoots in looking for a takedown. Brown tries to sprawl out of it but Knight keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Brown manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Knight is looking to clinch but Brown is avoiding it.
Brown lands a head kick. Knight smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

It looks like Patricia Knight has been cut.

Brown tries for a takedown but Knight sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Brown has Knight up against the cage in a clinch.

Brown breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Brown tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Knight defends well and Brown ends up having to push Knight into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Knight shoots in and gets a takedown into Brown's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Knight isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Brown stacks Knight on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Brown!

Brown sneaks out the side door and pushes Knight away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Knight closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Brown manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Knight keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Knight fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Brown goes for a double leg but Knight avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Knight continues to drive forward.
Knight changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Brown tries to avoid it but Knight manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Brown to the ground. Brown escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Knight manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Brown on his heels. He'll look to pass Brown's guard now, I'm sure.

Knight throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Brown was covering up waiting for the punch and Knight finishes the takedown easily into guard.
