Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Iosefa Umaga (ranked 601 p4p, 81 weight class) and Wolfgang Muller (ranked 757 p4p, 104 weight class). Umaga comes to the cage accompanied by Ky-Mani Marley - Warriors. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paul Aken and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Umaga has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Dr Hatsumi's Clinic in the buildup to the fight.
Muller lands with a nice combination. Umaga backs away looking to recover.
It looks like Iosefa Umaga has been cut.
Muller misses with a double jab
and Umaga counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Muller throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Muller lands a big uppercut and Umaga crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Umaga looks OK. Muller waves Umaga back to his feet!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Muller is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Umaga.
Muller tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Muller feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Umaga sprawling to the canvas! Umaga rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Muller finish him?!
Muller looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Umaga misses with a body kick.

and Umaga counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Umaga throws out a loose jab but Muller uses good head movement to avoid it.

and Umaga counters with a lovely straight right hand!

A low kick from Muller is predictable there
and Umaga counters with a straight right hand.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Umaga.
Muller dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Muller misses with a wild combination.
Muller ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Nice shot by Umaga.

Umaga misses with a hook. Muller ducked under it nicely.

Umaga was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Muller lands with a straight right. Umaga didn't see that one coming.
Muller throws a body shot but no joy.
A telegraphed right hand from Umaga misses the target.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Muller stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
A big left from Umaga misses.
Umaga uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Muller.
An attempted straight right counter from Umaga misses the target.
Umaga throws a solid leg kick but Muller takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Umaga.
Umaga misses with an uppercut. Muller saw that one coming.
Nice defenses there by Umaga.
Umaga swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Umaga throws a lazy uppercut
and Muller counters with a straight right hand.
Umaga keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Muller drops Umaga with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Umaga looks back up at him and smiles so Muller waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Umaga is rocked!
Muller walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Umaga drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Muller swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Umaga's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wolfgang Muller!
