Oliveira comes to the cage accompanied by Aint No Sunshine. Anderson Oliveira has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malina on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Oliveira. Oliveira obviously looking to wear him down.
Oliveira cracks the inside of Malina's front leg.
Malina dives in and grabs Oliveira's left leg, looking for a takedown. Oliveira pushes down on Malina's head and hops out.
Malina misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Oliveira.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Oliveira. Malina shrugs it off though.
A slapping body kick lands there for Oliveira.

Oliveira tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Malina is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It looks like Anton Malina has been cut.

Malina closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Malina using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Oliveira has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Oliveira gets control of Malina's arms and successfully pulls guard. Oliveira will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Oliveira has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Malina can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
