Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Neves (ranked 4662 p4p, 453 weight class) and Florian Stancu (ranked 7526 p4p, 556 weight class). Neves comes into the arena with Emicida - Sorriso Favela blaring out of the sound system. Stancu has chosen Stan Bush- On My Own as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Summer Carpenter and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stancu is looking to clinch but Neves is avoiding it.
Neves looking to score a takedown here. Stancu is defending well but Neves drives through and ends up in Stancu's guard.
Stancu is wriggling around but Neves manages to pass to half guard.
Stancu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Neves. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Neves is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Stancu defends it well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Neves is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Neves seems to be working for a kimura but Stancu defends the submission attempt.
Neves is looking for a kimura but Stancu is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Neves to get the leverage.
Stancu is refusing to be controlled, as Neves sits in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Neves is working for a submission of some sort.
Neves trying to control the action but Stancu is working from the bottom.
Neves has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Stancu defend it? Neves steps over the head and cranks it - Stancu is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Neves!
