Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dalip Singh!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Singh fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Cousins checks it well.
Cousins scoring well with a low kick there.

Singh has closed the distance and engaged Cousins in a clinch.
Cousins swings wildly with an uppercut but Singh uses good head movement to avoid it.
Singh dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.

A left hand lands to the body for Cousins.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cousins misses with a punch on the inside.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Cousins.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Singh.

Cousins tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Singh's elbow.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Dalip Singh.

Cousins punishes Singh's body with a nice straight punch.

Singh gets in close and instigates a clinch.

The crowd are getting on Singh's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch.

Cousins manages to break the clinch.
Cousins fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Singh looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Cousins takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Singh tries for a takedown but Cousins sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Cousins thinks about countering with a head kick.
Cousins throws a leg kick

and Singh counters with a shoot takedown. Cousins fights it but they end up in guard.

Singh stays in close to Cousins's body and controls the position.
Singh's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Dalip Singh will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

It looks like Dalip Singh has been cut.
Singh tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Cousins counters with a straight right hand.

Singh fails to land the takedown.
Singh throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Cousins sees it coming and avoids it easily.
It looked like Cousins was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Singh.
Cousins looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Cousins will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Cousins looks to score with a jab to the body but Singh is just out of range.

and Cousins counters with a crisp one two that drops Singh! Cousins thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Singh to his feet! Singh is in big trouble!
Singh misses with a takedown attempt - Cousins sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Singh get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Singh stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Cousins runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). DeMarcus Cousins!
Our winner, DeMarcus Cousins, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
