Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Patricia Knight!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Stephanni Reitano!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Mauricio Rocha and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reitano will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Knight appears to be looking for a big counter.

Reitano closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Knight's guard.
Reitano wants to control from the top but Knight keeps moving.

Reitano drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Knight dives on top into guard.


Reitano has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Knight is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Reitano.

Reitano rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Knight moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Reitano had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Knight defends it easily.

That was a close second round but I would say that Patricia Knight will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Reitano shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Knight but Knight pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Knight is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Reitano can't fight it off and eventually Knight manages to take the fight to the floor. Reitano looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Reitano is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Knight is controlling him.

Reitano throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Knight escapes and throws Reitano's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Reitano is trying to get back to his feet.

And that's the end of the fight!
Patricia Knight showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Knight, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
