Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lee Sin (ranked 2489 p4p, 266 weight class) and Ryouta Sato (ranked 3793 p4p, 388 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lee Sin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ryouta Sato!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sato pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sato stuffs the takedown.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sin connects with a nice short shot to Sato's temple.

Sato is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sin is controlling him.

That was a close second round but I would say that Lee Sin will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Ryouta Sato seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ryouta Sato has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Sin scores with a big shot! Sato's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Sato! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:50 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lee Sin!
Lee Sin was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
