Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Buddy Franklin (ranked 7837 p4p, 568 weight class) and Jeff Rinaldi (ranked 22972 p4p, 580 weight class). Jeff Rinaldi is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franklin blocks a low kick nicely.
Rinaldi cracks Franklin with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Franklin uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rinaldi.
Franklin looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Franklin is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Rinaldi is just riding it out for now. Franklin eventually gives up the hold.
