PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lio Graves (ranked 7504 p4p, 567 weight class) and Isaish Rashad (ranked 6402 p4p, 533 weight class). Graves comes to the cage accompanied by Night begins to shine by BEB. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Isaish Rashad !
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Wagner Zegers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rashad scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

It looks like Lio Graves has been cut.
Rashad 's corner calls for a 1-2. Rashad obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Graves looks to land a left hand but Rashad moved out of range nicely.
Graves wants to clinch but Rashad slips to the side
and Rashad counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Rashad lands a nice looking body shot.
Graves showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Rashad .
Graves doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Rashad cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Graves darts in looking for a takedown but Rashad gets double underhooks and turns Graves into the cage.
Rashad misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Graves tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rashad swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Graves throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
And Rashad tries to counter it with a takedown but Graves pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Rashad throws a right and a left that both miss.
Rashad moves into range and connects with a jab.
Rashad punishes Graves's body with a nice straight punch.
Rashad connects with a right hand. Graves shakes it off.

Oooooh!!! Rashad has knocked Graves down with a huge combo! Rashad steps away and waves a wobbly Graves back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Graves is breathing heavily.

Rashad moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Oh Graves is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Graves shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Graves seems to have got his legs back now.
We've been hearing that Graves has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Rashad uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Rashad wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Graves walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Lio Graves's cut is getting worse.
Graves shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lio Graves. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Rashad cracks Graves with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Rashad Throws a clean left jab. Rashad Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Graves's chin! Graves crumbles to the ground and Rashad follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Rashad !
