The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sullivan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jones throws a series of punches but Sullivan moves out of range.
Sullivan drops down looking for a counter takedown but Jones sprawls and moves away.
Sullivan closes the distance and lands a one-two.

It looks like Jimbo Jones has been cut.
Jones missing with a left hand there. Sullivan was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Jones throws a looping overhand right but Sullivan ducks down to avoid it.
Sullivan has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
A head kick misses from Sullivan.
Jimbo Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Sullivan swings for the body but Jones moves out of range.
Jones just misses with a punch to the body.
Sullivan attempts a counter takedown but Jones avoids it well and moves away.
Sullivan with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Jones to score with a decent uppercut.
Sullivan scores with the left hand. Jones knows he should have avoided that one.

Sullivan tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Jones was well out of range. Poor timing from Sullivan.
Despite the aggression on Jones's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Sullivan changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Sullivan drops Jones with a straight right hand, right on the button! Sullivan follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
