Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Montana (ranked 2969 p4p, 314 weight class) and Paul OConnell (ranked 2065 p4p, 247 weight class). Montana comes into the arena with Push it to the Limit blaring out of the sound system. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
OConnell pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Montana wants to clinch
and OConnell counters with a stiff right hand.

It looks like Antonio Montana has been cut.
OConnell keeps the fight on the outside.
OConnell throws a hook but Montana blocks it.
Montana is looking to counter the offense by OConnell and move into the clinch.
OConnell misses with a hook.
Montana throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A countering left hand to the body from OConnell misses.
Montana throws a quick inside leg kick.
Montana tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but OConnell paws at him with a jab and circles away.
OConnell has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Montana tries to clinch but OConnell is having none of it.
Montana misses the shot to the body.
Montana lands with a straight right. OConnell didn't see that one coming.

OConnell tries to keep at a distance but Montana has taken the fight into the clinch.

OConnell manages to break the clinch.
OConnell fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Montana looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Montana feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to OConnell's calf.
Montana shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has OConnell pinned against the cage. OConnell gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
OConnell checks the leg kick nicely there.
OConnell looks to land a right hand but Montana moved out of range.
Montana wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from OConnell! Montana is out on his feet! OConnell rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Montana is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Montana is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
