McDonald has chosen Get Busy Living as his entrance music. Fujii Yusuke could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ronnie McDonald's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yusuke throws a head kick that misses

and McDonald counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

McDonald tries to pass to full mount but Yusuke defends it.

Yusuke has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. McDonald is working away from the top position though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. McDonald connects with a nice short shot to Yusuke's temple.
Yusuke works his way to full guard. Good work.
McDonald wants to pass the guard but Yusuke is keeping the position.
Yusuke wants to sweep but no luck.

Yusuke has his foot on McDonald's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. McDonald works his way back into a safe position though.
McDonald is looking to work some ground and pound but Yusuke has wrist control.
Yusuke has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

McDonald has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Yusuke to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! McDonald is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Yusuke pulls down on the head and he's put McDonald to sleep! This one is all over!
