The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Argus throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Forbes moves into the clinch.
Forbes tries to pull guard but Argus forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Forbes as Argus tries to tie him up.
Forbes jumps guard but Argus stands there with Forbes around his waist. Forbes gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Forbes fails to pull guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ambrose Forbes. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Argus tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Forbes just stands there and leans against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Argus tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Forbes smiles and moves away.

Forbes throws a big counter combination but Argus scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Argus shoots in looking for a takedown. Forbes tries to sprawl out of it but Argus keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Forbes manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Argus connects with an inside leg kick.
Dante Argus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Forbes keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Forbes swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Forbes gets a clinch.

Forbes is trying to pull guard but Argus has him pressed against the cage.
Forbes successfully pulls guard.
Argus is fighting to break Forbes's control of his arms but Forbes is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Forbes has his feet on Argus's thighs here. He's pushed Argus off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Argus screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
