Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hung Lo (ranked 4133 p4p, 183 weight class) and Saenchai Son (ranked 6473 p4p, 218 weight class). Lo's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, It G Ma. Son has chosen Mama as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Saenchai Son!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Jorge Garcia and Lou da Vinci.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lo takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Son misses with a few strikes there.
Lo moves out of range of the body kick from Son.
Lo feinted with a counter takedown.
Lo dives in and grabs Son's left leg, looking for a takedown. Son pushes down on Lo's head and hops out.
Son looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Lo shoots in for a takedown but Son shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Lo fails with a takedown attempt.
Son throws a counter combo.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hung Lo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Son lands a right hook to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Son smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Son throws a one two combo.
Son is looking to clinch but Lo is avoiding it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A solid leg kick lands there for Son.

Son moves into the clinch.
Lo jumps guard but Son turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Son stops a takedown attempt from Lo.
Son stalling against the cage.
Son misses with some punches.

Lo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lo blocks a head kick by Son.
Son tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Lo appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Son moves in looking to clinch but Lo pushes him off.
Son takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Son fails in his attempt to clinch.
Lo shoots and misses
and Son counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Son tries to close the distance and clinch but Lo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Son connects with a high kick.
Saenchai Son seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lo circles away from the clinch attempt.
Son throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Lo's head.

Lo is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Son throws a combination. Lo tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Oh Lo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Son connects with a right that clearly hurt Lo. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Son proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Lo collapses and taps out under the pressure!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Saenchai Son!
Saenchai Son bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
Hung Lo was interviewed post fight and said 'This is probably the result of collusion. I won't stand for it and will call upon anyone everyone to reslove the matter. Thank you to the fans but not really fuck you guys. *double birds and Stone Cold Steve Austin-esque exit*'.
