Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Tommy Westover (ranked 11615 p4p, 447 weight class) and Ma Moru (ranked 3280 p4p, 276 weight class). Moru is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by slam dunk opening theme song. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ma Moru!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, John Roberts and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Westover is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Moru.
Westover connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Ma Moru seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Westover takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Moru throws the left hand but Westover avoids the punch easily.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Moru.
Moru connects with a single shot there.
Westover works the jab nicely.
Moru darts in and clinches Westover up against the ropes.
Moru lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Moru pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Moru lands a nice hook to Westover's body. Westover takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Moru tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Westover manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Westover really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Moru sizes up Westover with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Westover tests Moru's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Westover throws a right and a left that both miss.
We've been informed that Moru has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Moru throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Westover.

Westover definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Westover closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
A short body shot lands from Westover as the two fighters clinch.
Moru is trying to break the clinch but Westover is controlling him.
Moru is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Westover is defending well for now.
Moru creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Westover lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Moru misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Westover.
Moru pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the ropes.
Westover tries to throw a body punch but Moru avoids it by throwing Westover back against the ropes.

Moru breaks the clinch.
Moru takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Westover looks to land a left hand but Moru moved out of range nicely.
Moru throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Westover stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Moru scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Westover doesn't seem bothered though.

Westover is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Moru throws a body punch but Westover moves out of range.

Westover lands a left hand that snaps the head of Moru backwards.
Moru is still on wobbly legs! Can Westover finish him?
Westover is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Westover breaks the clinch momentarily and cracks Moru with a big right hook that drops him to the canvas! Moru looks like he might be in big trouble here! The referee has started the count straight away and we're up to 5 already. Moru get to one knee - can he make it back to his feet? No, he's flopped back to the mat - he's out - this one is all over!

During a confident post fight interview, Tommy Westover thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
