Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rickson Moura (ranked 782 p4p, 114 weight class) and Andy Shifter (ranked 231 p4p, 33 weight class). Shifter has chosen Lützenkirchen- Nutcracker as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Franklyn Lucas and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moura throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Shifter on the side of the head.
Shifter shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Moura is trying to defend but Shifter finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Shifter passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Moura!

We've been hearing good reports from Moura's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Moura is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Shifter is hurt! He's hurt bad - Moura fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Shifter from any more punishment! Congratulations to Moura! Great finish!
