The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nevez cracks Griffin with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
A decent looking cross lands there for Nevez.
Nevez stuffs the takedown attempt from Griffin. Griffin gets slowly back to his feet.
Griffin walks into a stiff left hand from Nevez.
Nevez keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Griffin.

and Nevez makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Nevez displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Griffin.

Nevez leaves Griffin with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Griffin is still on wobbly legs! Can Nevez finish him?

Nevez lands a glancing blow to the side of Griffin's head.
Griffin darts in looking for a takedown but Nevez gets double underhooks and turns Griffin into the cage.
Nevez drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Griffin right on the button. Griffin goes down! Nevez follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Nevez gets the win via TKO!
