Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zukaan Nurudinov (ranked 7977 p4p, 630 weight class) and Denis Mamaev (ranked 4163 p4p, 487 weight class). Mamaev has chosen 30 Seconds To Mars - Hurricane as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mamaev throws a jab when Nurudinov was well out of range.
Nurudinov shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Mamaev defends it nicely.

Nurudinov has managed to clinch.
Nurudinov tries a body shot but Mamaev blocks it.
Nurudinov throws an elbow but it's blocked.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nurudinov wants to stall.

Mamaev escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mamaev misses with a jab, cross combination.

Nurudinov gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Mamaev counters with a nice right hand that sends Nurudinov toppling to the canvas! Nurudinov scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Mamaev finish him?!
