Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Mueller (ranked 25227 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dante Wilde (ranked 7108 p4p, 0 weight class). Wilde has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Rodrigo Mueller has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Anthony Taglia and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mueller throws a right and a left that both miss.
Wilde closes the distance and pushes Mueller back into the cage.
Mueller gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Wilde tries to kick Mueller off in order to stand up. Mueller Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Wilde looks winded!
Wilde takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Wilde looking for a sweep but Mueller has passed into full mount! Oh no!

Mueller looking to finish Wilde with some ground and pound. This is bad for Wilde!

Mueller has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Wilde's face.

Mueller is landing with some decent strikes but Wilde is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Mueller's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Mueller breaks from Wilde's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Wilde tries to hold on but Mueller pushes him away.
Mueller takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Wilde is in a horrible position here. Mueller smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Mueller lands a big shot there that rocks Wilde but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Wilde has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Mueller instigates a clinch.
Mueller turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Mueller lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Wilde down.

Mueller has an Americana. Wilde didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Mueller is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Mueller hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
