Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Youssoufa Diallo (ranked 4294 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uriah Small (ranked 4203 p4p, 0 weight class). Diallo comes into the arena with Africa soukouss blaring out of the sound system. Uriah Small will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Alec Ball and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Small defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Diallo.
Small tries a quick counter leg kick but Diallo is wise to it.
Diallo misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Small connects with a solid leg kick.
The crowd cheers as Small lands an impressive looking overhand right. Diallo doesn't seem phased though.
Diallo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Small avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Youssoufa Diallo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Small displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Diallo.
Diallo looks for a takedown but Small sprawls well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Small fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Diallo has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Diallo shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Small counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Youssoufa Diallo has been cut.
Diallo takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Diallo tries to move into range but Small moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Small tries to sprawl but Diallo drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Small pushes Diallo off and gets back to his feet.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Small, right into the meat.
Horrible takedown attempt by Diallo or perhaps it was just good defense by Small, which made it look bad.
Small leaves Diallo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Small with a jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Small connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Diallo's hands.
Small dips to his left and cracks Diallo with an uppercut!
Small lands a jab to Diallo's midsection.
Small chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Diallo closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Small told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.

A short right hand to the side of the head by Small.
Small scores with an uppercut up the middle.

Diallo is rocked!
Small scores with a shot to the side of Diallo's head.
Oh Diallo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Small creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Diallo's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Diallo drops to his knees and Small pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Uriah Small!
A very excited looking Uriah Small made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
