A nice right hand lands inside from Fortune.
Fortune will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Peoples up against the cage.
Fortune digs a right hand into Peoples's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Peoples's gas tank.
Peoples tries to pull guard but Fortune forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Fortune lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Peoples's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fortune lands a hook that snaps the head of Peoples backwards.
Fortune creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Peoples's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Peoples drops to his knees and Fortune pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
