Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Danny Roberts (ranked 2488 p4p, 271 weight class) and Lynn Steinheiser (ranked 1431 p4p, 165 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Steinheiser counters with a nice double leg into side control. Roberts won't be happy with that.

It looks like Danny Roberts has been cut.
Steinheiser cracks Roberts with a big right hand but Roberts just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Steinheiser works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Roberts definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Steinheiser scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Roberts is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Steinheiser can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
