Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Blood (ranked 2486 p4p, 277 weight class) and Marco Aurelio (ranked 5650 p4p, 504 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Daniel Franklin and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aurelio throws a shot from downtown. Blood moves away and avoids it.
Blood avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
It looked like Blood was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Aurelio with a poor takedown
and Blood connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Aurelio closes the distance looking to clinch
and Blood counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Aurelio looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Blood is fending him off so far but Aurelio persists. Nope, Blood circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Blood slips a jab from Aurelio.
Blood definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

and Blood cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Blood is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A looping hook to the body misses from Blood. Aurelio does a little dance to reset his feet.
Aurelio takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Blood lunges at Aurelio with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Aurelio's hand.

Aurelio misses with a straight left.
Aurelio misses with an uppercut. Blood saw that one coming.
Blood is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Aurelio.
Aurelio bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Aurelio closes the distance looking to clinch
and Blood connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Aurelio throws a hook but Blood avoids it easily.
Blood lands with an overhand left.
Ivan Blood is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Blood throws an overhand right that has Aurelio reeling! Blood follows up with more punches and Aurelio is out cold! This one is all over!
