Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Franklyn Lucas and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Figueroa as he avoids it easily.
Jenkins forces Figueroa back against the cage and clinches.
Figueroa tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Jenkins just stands there and leans against the cage.
Jenkins wants to break free but Figueroa has control.
Jenkins is fighting off a takedown attempt but Figueroa is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Jenkins to the mat. Jenkins regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jenkins has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Figueroa is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Jenkins.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jenkins tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Figueroa wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Jenkins wants to sweep here but Figueroa controlling him for the moment.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Jenkins is looking for a sweep. Figueroa is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Jenkins tries to kick Figueroa off but Figueroa keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Jenkins tries to close the distance and clinch up but Figueroa swats him away and circles back towards the center.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Figueroa, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
