Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pollo Tropical (ranked 1977 p4p, 276 weight class) and Mike Smith (ranked 2425 p4p, 325 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Smith's choice of entrance music: Therion - Sitra Ahra. Pollo Tropical could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Mike Smith's chin.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith thuds his shin into the meat of Tropical's side.
Tropical throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
It seemed like Smith was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Tropical lands a jab to Smith's midsection.
Smith keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Tropical bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Smith's head backwards.
Tropical ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Smith moves away.

Smith throws a sloppy body shot
and Tropical counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Smith throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tropical.
Tropical moves into range and connects with a jab.
It looks like Mike Smith has been cut.
Tropical ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Tropical misses with an uppercut
and Tropical takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
We've been told by Tropical's head coaches at Damage Inc. that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
The fighters circling - Tropical throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Tropical throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tropical swings for the body but Smith moves out of range.

Smith is rocked!
Tropical flashes Smith a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Smith's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Smith crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Tropical punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Pollo Tropical!
Pollo Tropical bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
