Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ike Tronstone (ranked 1205 p4p, 154 weight class) and Brent Boston (ranked 1320 p4p, 168 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ike Tronstone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brent Boston!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boston fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Tronstone sprawls well initially but Boston persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Tronstone is looking to get back to is feet but Boston passes into side control.
Boston postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Boston cracks Tronstone with a big elbow.
Tronstone tries to improve position but can't.
Tronstone is trying to buck Boston off.
Boston controls the position from side control.
Tronstone looking for a sweep but Boston has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Tronstone is desperately trying to improve his position but Boston has a good base and remains in mount.

Boston connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Tronstone is squirming around, avoiding Boston's attempts to control the action.
Boston with a couple of short strikes.
Tronstone bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tronstone throws a strike but Boston rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Boston slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Tronstone winds up and cracks Boston with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

That was a close round but I would say that Ike Tronstone will probably get the nod.

Boston wants to clinch up but Tronstone keeps it at a distance.
Boston's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Tronstone connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Boston scrambles back to his feet.
Boston uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tronstone.

Tronstone closes the distance and clinches up with Boston, looking for a takedown. Tronstone pushes Boston against the cage but Boston circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Tronstone lands a left and a right that send Boston crashing to the mat, dazed. Tronstone thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Tronstone shoots in for a takedown but Boston shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Tronstone was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Tronstone is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Boston tries to bum rush Tronstone with a series of wild strikes but Tronstone uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Tronstone will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Tronstone changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Boston looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

I would just about give that final round to Brent Boston.
