Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Coburn (ranked 447 p4p, 55 weight class) and Randall Jackson (ranked 561 p4p, 68 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Jackson's choice of entrance music: Deliverance. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kevin Coburn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Randall Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Lou da Vinci and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Coburn throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Coburn slips a straight right by Jackson.
It looked like Coburn was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Jackson moves into range and clinches up with Coburn.
Coburn lands a nice uppercut.

Coburn's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Jackson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Coburn scrambles back to his feet.

Coburn drops his hands momentarily and Jackson takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Jackson misses with a takedown attempt - Coburn sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

and Jackson holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Jackson goes for a takedown in the clinch but Coburn prevents it.
Kevin Coburn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Randall Jackson.

Coburn wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jackson has him pressed against the cage.

Randall Jackson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

It looked like Coburn was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Jackson.

Coburn looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
