Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

21 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, DJ Boom!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hernando clinches up with Boom and pushes him back against the cage.
Boom looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Hernando blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Boom managing to block the knees to the body from Hernando.
Hernando lands a hook to the side of the head.
Boom has a couple of punches blocked by Hernando.
Boom dodges an elbow strike from Hernando.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Hernando obliges.
Hernando throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
A short right from Hernando.
Boom tries to break the clinch but Hernando is controlling the position.
We've been informed that Boom has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Hernando prevents Boom from breaking the clinch.
Boom blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Boom has a couple of punches blocked by Hernando.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hernando lands with a right to the head.
Hernando pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hernando throws a low kick but it's checked well by Boom.

Hernando throws out a leg kick but Boom moves out of range and Hernando only half commits.

Hernando moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Boom is rocked!
Hernando thumps Boom with a low kick.
Boom is still on wobbly legs! Can Hernando finish him?
Boom misses the shot to the body.
Hernando throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Boom on the side of the head.
Boom ducks under a wild hook from Hernando.
A telegraphed right hand from Hernando misses the target.
Boom shapes to counter with a head kick.
Hernando misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Boom looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Hernando throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Boom cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Hernando throws a looping overhand right but Boom ducks down to avoid it.
Hernando tries a low kick but Boom avoids it.
Hernando swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hernando misses with an uppercut.
Hernando lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Hernando scores with a sloppy right hand. Boom should have avoided that one.
Hernando connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Boom momentarily.

Hernando swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Boom is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Hernando misses with a two punch combination.
Boom lands a nice hook to Hernando's body. Hernando takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Hernando fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Hernando lands a right hand that snaps the head of Boom backwards.
Our sources have told us that Hernando has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.
Hernando scores with a nice hook to the head.

Boom tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Hernando's elbow.
Hernando tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Hernando misses with a punch on the inside.
Hernando lands an elbow inside.
It looks like DJ Boom has been cut.
Hernando lands with a light punch inside.
Hernando throws a big uppercut that drops Boom! More strikes from Hernando and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Boom lies dazed against the cage as Hernando celebrates with his cornermen!
