And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Julij slips under a jab from Butcher.
Julij moves to clinch but Butcher breaks away
and Butcher counters with a straight right hand.

It looks like Adam Julij has been cut.
Julij fails in his attempt to clinch.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Julij has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Butcher is looking to slow Julij down with leg kicks.
Julij takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
A decent looking cross lands there for Butcher.

That has opened up Adam Julij's cut even more.
Julij tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Butcher paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Butcher fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

and Butcher connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Julij walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

enabling Butcher to counter with a crisp jab.

The cut above Adam Julij's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Julij tries to close the distance and clinch up but Butcher swats him away and circles back towards the center.
It looked like Butcher wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Butcher scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Julij closes the distance but Butcher moves to the side

and Butcher counters with a nice right hand that sends Julij toppling to the canvas! Julij scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Butcher finish him?!

Julij is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Julij is aggressively charging in as Butcher backs up avoiding any damage. Butcher tosses out a jab and Julij runs right into it face first! Julij is out cold! Butcher dropped down on all fours and is barking in Julij's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
