Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Watsz Mawe (ranked 3202 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Green (ranked 23663 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Watsz Mawe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bobby Green!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yukihiro Shimada and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mawe shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Green but Green pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Mawe closes this distance looking for a takedown but Green circles away.
Mawe fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Watsz Mawe. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Mawe closes the distance and clinches.
Green tries to stall but Mawe uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Mawe breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Green tries to clinch up but Mawe circles away and keeps his distance.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Mawe.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A head kick misses from Green.
A little feinted left hand from Mawe on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Mawe blocks a leg kick.

Green gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Mawe to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Green wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Mawe manages to pass to side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Mawe lands a nice short elbow.

It looks like Bobby Green has been cut.

Green is defending against the submission attempts here by Mawe.
Mawe frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Mawe swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!

In his post fight interview, Watsz Mawe started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
