Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mentor Guruland (ranked 1105 p4p, 171 weight class) and Charley Hanagan (ranked 2047 p4p, 289 weight class). Hanagan has chosen Guilty Until Proven Innocent as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decent striking displayed by Hanagan there.

Guruland attempts a counter takedown but Hanagan avoids it well and moves away.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Guruland is on top in guard.
Hanagan lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Guruland manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hanagan manages to get himself to full guard.

Guruland tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Hanagan cranks the arm and Guruland screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Guruland, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
