Mazur comes to the cage accompanied by Nothing More - Here's to Heartache. Rafal Mazur has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rafal Mazur!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shaun Brownie!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mazur tries to clinch up.
Brownie takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Brownie jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Mazur is looking to clinch but Brownie is avoiding it.
Brownie throws the kick towards the body but Mazur avoids it.
Mazur slips under a jab from Brownie.
Mazur fails in his attempt to clinch.

Mazur fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Brownie, pushing him back against the cage.
Brownie looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Mazur misses with a hook to the ribs.
Brownie misses with a knee to the head.
Brownie letting Mazur take a breather here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brownie is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Mazur is defending well for now.

Both fighters working to control the clinch.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mazur looking to throw knees to the head but Brownie is blocking nicely.
Brownie tries to land a knee to the head but Mazur blocks with his arms.
Brownie pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Mazur misses with a short punch on the inside.

Brownie gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Mazur kicks off Brownie and gets to his feet.

Brownie forces Mazur back against the cage and clinches.

Brownie pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Mazur looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Brownie tries to clinch up but Mazur circles away and keeps his distance.
Jab, jab by Brownie - just one landing.
A clash of legs there as Mazur blocks the low kick.
Mazur throws a push kick but Brownie slaps the foot to one side.
Brownie scores with the left hand. Mazur knows he should have avoided that one.

Mazur clinches up with Brownie and pushes him back against the cage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Brownie using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Mazur has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Mazur with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Brownie drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Mazur escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mazur doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Brownie doesn't manage to clinch there - Mazur circles away.

Mazur has Brownie up against the cage in a clinch.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Brownie throws an elbow that misses.
Mazur tries to land a knee to the head but Brownie blocks with his arms.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Brownie is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Brownie lands a knee to the head.
Brownie misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Mazur.
Mazur wants to break free but Brownie has control.
Brownie throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Mazur is pressed up against the cage. Brownie has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Mazur down to the mat. Mazur avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Mazur tries to clinch up but Brownie circles away and keeps his distance.
A little jabbing left from Brownie on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Mazur wants to clinch up but Brownie keeps it at a distance.

Brownie sends Mazur crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Brownie is motioning to the referee to let Mazur up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Mazur tries to land a body kick
and Brownie counters with a huge left! Mazur is in big trouble! He's backing up but Brownie isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Mazur from any more damage. A dominating finish by Brownie!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Shaun Brownie!
A very excited looking Shaun Brownie rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
