Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack MaHogOff!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Eerikki Salmi!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salmi dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on MaHogOff. That did some damage!
MaHogOff shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Salmi pinned against the cage. Salmi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
It seemed like Salmi was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Salmi scores with a crisp jab that stopped MaHogOff in his tracks.
MaHogOff walks into a left hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
MaHogOff throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Salmi's waist but Salmi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing MaHogOff off to one side.

MaHogOff has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
MaHogOff takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
MaHogOff fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack MaHogOff. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Salmi cracks MaHogOff with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Salmi has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning MaHogOff to stand back up!
MaHogOff is rocked!
It looks like Jack MaHogOff has been cut.
Salmi lands a brutal uppercut that launches MaHogOff off his feet! MaHogOff tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Eerikki Salmi!
