The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyler cracks Edson with a good jab.
Tyler rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Edson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Tyler has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Edson ducks straight into an uppercut from Tyler and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Edson manages to regain guard straight away.

Edson is rocked!
Tyler would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Oh Edson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Oh, that's a big right hand from Tyler and Edson goes tumbling to the canvas! Tyler follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

It looks like Yoel Edson has been cut.
Edson tries to kick Tyler off but Tyler keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Tyler throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Tyler thows a huge punch but Edson dodges it nicely.
Tyler is looking to advance position but Edson won't allow it.

Edson fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Tyler on the side of the head.

Edson misses with a hook. Tyler ducked under it nicely.
Edson throws the left hand but Tyler avoids the punch easily.
Edson misses with a straight left.
No joy there for Tyler, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nice straight punches there by Tyler. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Tyler.
Edson lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tyler scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Edson is breathing heavily.

Edson get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Edson stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Tyler runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
