Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Otavio Braga (ranked 3552 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trevontye Khols (ranked 7528 p4p, 0 weight class). Braga comes to the cage accompanied by Aerials. Otavio Braga has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Braga shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Khols defends it nicely.
Khols tries to clinch but Braga is having none of it.
Braga throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Khols's waist but Khols gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Braga off to one side.
Braga shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Khols counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Otavio Braga. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Braga shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Khols napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Khols is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Braga has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Khols is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Braga is controlling him well.

Braga is working to tighten his grip on Khols's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Khols has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Braga is really squeezing tight and eventually Khols passes out! Braga breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
