The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martineau gets a takedown into half guard.
Martineau keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Martineau is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Martineau lands with a punch from half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Love makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Martineau shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Love napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Love knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Martineau on the ground.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Martineau stands up and beckons Love to his feet.
Martineau closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Love tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.

Martineau slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Martineau is cranking Love's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Love! He's tightened the choke and Love is tapping out!
