Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hulk Hogan!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Santiago Holmes and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hewitt ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Hogan gets a clinch.

Hogan has picked Hewitt up - he's going for a ride! Hogan dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Hogan landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Hewitt controlling the position well.
Hewitt wants to control but Hogan is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Hogan is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hewitt is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hogan pulls his head out easily.
Hogan blocks the strikes from Hewitt.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hewitt gets full guard.
Hewitt is trying to keep Hogan in close.
Hewitt can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hogan controls the pace.
Hewitt on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hewitt tries to get out of the position.
Hewitt tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Hogan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Hewitt manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hogan manages to get himself to full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hogan wants to improve his position but instead Hewitt has moved into half guard.
Hewitt not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Hogan has a hand on Hewitt's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Hewitt takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Hogan is looking to improve his position but Hewitt isn't that keen on the idea.

Hewitt scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Hogan in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Hewitt looking to control and managing it successfully.
Hewitt has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Hewitt trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Hewitt sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Hogan is in all sorts of trouble here.
Hewitt can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hogan is looking to escape.
Hewitt working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Hogan keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hewitt controlling the position easily from mount.
Hogan in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Hogan is squirming around, avoiding Hewitt's attempts to control the action.
Hogan is working to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jason Hewitt dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Hewitt doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Hogan counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Hogan.

Hewitt has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Hogan should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Hewitt has tightened it up now! Hogan should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
