Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bo Bodfors (ranked 3562 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boon Wrecking Ball (ranked 2362 p4p, 0 weight class). Bodfors comes to the cage accompanied by Raubtier - Achtung Panzer. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wrecking Ball misses with a combination
and Bodfors counters with a straight right hand.
Wrecking Ball's coach down at JAG Training Grounds [$600/week] was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Wrecking Ball's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Wrecking Ball lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Wrecking Ball has a takedown stuffed.

Wrecking Ball takes the fight into the clinch.

Bodfors escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bodfors looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wrecking Ball fails to land with a series of punches.
Wrecking Ball looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Wrecking Ball goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Wrecking Ball fails with an attempt to clinch.

Bodfors slips a jab and a cross from Wrecking Ball.

and Bodfors cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Boon Wrecking Ball has been cut.
A telegraphed right hand from Bodfors misses the target.

Wrecking Ball moves out of range as Bodfors strikes.
Boon Wrecking Ball seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bodfors on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Wrecking Ball looks to land a combination but Bodfors avoids it well.
Wrecking Ball throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bodfors's waist but Bodfors gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wrecking Ball off to one side.
Bo Bodfors has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boon Wrecking Ball.
Wrecking Ball shoots in and drives through. Bodfors sprawls well.

Wrecking Ball rushes Bodfors and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Bodfors stuffs the takedown attempt from Wrecking Ball. Wrecking Ball gets slowly back to his feet.
The crowd cheers as Bodfors lands an impressive looking overhand right. Wrecking Ball doesn't seem phased though.

Bodfors misses with a straight right.
Despite the aggression on Wrecking Ball's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
A combination from Wrecking Ball does no damage.

and Bodfors makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Wrecking Ball shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Bodfors counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Bodfors gets tackled into the cage by Wrecking Ball. Wrecking Ball maintains the clinch.
Bodfors has a couple of punches blocked by Wrecking Ball.

Bodfors pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Bodfors cracks Wrecking Ball with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Bodfors has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Wrecking Ball to stand back up!

Wrecking Ball is rocked!

This has been an exciting period of action!
Bodfors is stalking Wrecking Ball. Wrecking Ball circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Bodfors, and it's lights out! Wrecking Ball really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
