The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sheuster lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Flowers keeps control of Sheuster as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Flowers shoots in and drives through. Sheuster sprawls well.

Flowers is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Sheuster doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Flowers.

Flowers wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Sheuster, who protects the arm well.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sheuster can do anything to dispel that myth.
Flowers in side control, throwing shots but Sheuster defends.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sheuster wants to get back to his feet.

Flowers is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Sheuster has escaped the position, nice work there.
Flowers will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Flowers thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Sheuster wants to get back to his feet.

Flowers tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Flowers has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Sheuster is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
