Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nick Tessier (ranked 2959 p4p, 355 weight class) and Cletus McDonald (ranked 1689 p4p, 227 weight class). McDonald is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Merle Haggard - Okie From Muskogee. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tessier bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps McDonald 's head backwards.
Tessier moves out of range of the body kick from McDonald .
McDonald jabs Tessier to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Tessier shoots for a double leg takedown but McDonald sprawls well. He's pushed Tessier's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

McDonald showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Tessier.
Tessier looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Tessier looks to land a left hand but McDonald moved out of range nicely.
