Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Earl Jeffries (ranked 835 p4p, 112 weight class) and Sea Level Cain (ranked 871 p4p, 116 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Earl Jeffries !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Sea Level Cain!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jeffries throws a jab when Cain was well out of range.
Cain misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jeffries getting the better of the striking in that exchange.


It looks like Sea Level Cain has been cut.

Jeffries has closed the distance and engaged Cain in a clinch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Cain.
Jeffries throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Jeffries scores with a shoulder strike.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Jeffries .

Cain jumps guard and drags Jeffries to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Cain trying to control the position here.
Jeffries controls from within his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jeffries stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cain swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Cain wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Jeffries seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Cain staying out of range there.
Cain with a hook.
Earl Jeffries is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A telegraphed right hand from Cain misses the target.
Cain bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Earl Jeffries seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cain steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jeffries .

Cain throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A big left from Cain misses.
Cain circles away from the clinch attempt
and Cain counters with a straight right hand.
Jeffries fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cain manages to avoid it.
Jeffries takes a swing at Cain's ribcage but misses.
Cain connects with a jab.
Jeffries scores with a jab.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Cain throws a head kick but Jeffries moves out of range.
A quick step to the side and Jeffries tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Cain throws an off balance right hand
and Jeffries counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Jeffries feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Cain sprawling to the canvas! Cain rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Jeffries finish him?!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cain moves away from the strike by Jeffries .
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Cain! But no joy.
Jeffries slips under a jab.

Jeffries gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Cain swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Jeffries pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Jeffries on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Jeffries gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Jeffries tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Cain is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Jeffries buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Jeffries !! Jeffries is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Cain throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sea Level Cain!
During a confident post fight interview, Sea Level Cain thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
