Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Meatball Destroyer (ranked 1359 p4p, 160 weight class) and Mosi Kondo (ranked 237 p4p, 38 weight class). Mosi Kondo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Meatball Destroyer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mosi Kondo!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Jonathan Paton and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kondo has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kondo there as he acknowledges the shot.
Destroyer lands a jab.
Kondo has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Kondo pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Kondo looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Kondo thumps Destroyer with a low kick.
Meatball Destroyer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Destroyer throws an overhand right that lands on Kondo's shoulder, as Kondo tries to avoid the shot.

Kondo wants to clinch.
Kondo tries to bum rush Destroyer with a series of wild strikes but Destroyer uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Destroyer throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kondo on the side of the head.
Destroyer looks to score with a jab to the body but Kondo is just out of range.
Destroyer lunges at Kondo with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Kondo's hand.
Kondo closes the distance and clinches.
Destroyer is trying to push Kondo away but Kondo has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Destroyer tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Kondo lands a shot to the body.
Destroyer has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

No joy there for Destroyer, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Destroyer throws a shot from downtown. Kondo moves away and avoids it.
Kondo moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Kondo tries to close the distance and clinch but Destroyer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Destroyer throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Destroyer keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kondo.
Destroyer is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Destroyer swats away the attempt to clinch by Kondo.
Destroyer throws a hook to the side of Kondo's head but Kondo sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kondo changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Kondo ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Kondo lands a jab to Destroyer's midsection.
Destroyer looks to land a left hand but Kondo moved out of range nicely.
A jab from Kondo finds it's way through Destroyer's defenses.
Kondo misses the jab.
Destroyer stalks Kondo and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kondo's face. Kondo staggers backwards, shaken.
A jab from Destroyer does it's job there.
Destroyer throws the left hand but Kondo avoids the punch easily.

Destroyer circles away from the clinch attempt.
A lazy left from Destroyer finds it's target.
Kondo fails with an attempt to clinch.
Destroyer misses with a looping right.
Kondo moves out of range as Destroyer strikes.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Destroyer throws a hook to the side of Kondo's head but Kondo sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Kondo clinches up with Destroyer and pushes him back against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Meatball Destroyer will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Kondo takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Kondo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Destroyer paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Destroyer throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Kondo lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Destroyer takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Destroyer keeps the fight on the outside.

A clash of legs there as Destroyer blocks the low kick.
Destroyer works the jab nicely.
Kondo throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Destroyer moves away from the strike by Kondo.
Destroyer throws an off balance right hand
and Kondo counters with a huge uppercut, hook combination that drops Destroyer! The ref has seen enough - he's dived in to stop the fight! Brutal strikes by Kondo!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mosi Kondo!
After winning the bout, Mosi Kondo thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
In defeat, Meatball Destroyer stepped up to the mic, saying 'Organic Nutrition all the way'.
