The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoi misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Hoi gets a clinch.
Mulligan has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Hoi after a bit of a struggle.

Hoi feints a jab promting Mulligan to slip. Hoi then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Mulligan slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Hoi looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Hoi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mulligan tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hoi defends well and Mulligan ends up having to push Hoi into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Hoi lands with a straight right. Mulligan didn't see that one coming.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Mulligan.
Pina Colada Hoi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fionn Mulligan.

Mulligan wants to control from the top but Hoi keeps moving.
Mulligan controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Hoi lands a left and a right that send Mulligan crashing to the mat, dazed. Hoi thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Mulligan gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Mulligan tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Hoi is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Mulligan buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Mulligan!! Mulligan is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Hoi throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
