Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ambrose Forbes (ranked 7564 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dante Grundy (ranked 7208 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grundy gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Forbes counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Grundy has a closed guard, preventing Forbes from standing up.
Forbes engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Grundy looking for a guillotine here but Forbes defends easily.
Forbes has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Forbes is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Grundy looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Grundy throws a combination that misses

and Forbes counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Forbes.
Grundy drops down looking for an ankle pick but Forbes pulls his leg out and moves away.
Ambrose Forbes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dante Grundy.

Forbes pushes Grundy up against the cage in a clinch.
Grundy is looking for a takedown.
Grundy looks winded!
Grundy goes for a takedown in the clinch but Forbes prevents it.

Forbes jumps guard and drags Grundy to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Forbes is pulling down on Grundy's head. It's preventing any offense from Grundy, at least for the moment.

Forbes is trying to maintain the position but Grundy is very close to passing his half guard.
Forbes lands one or two decent shots to the body here. Although from his own half guard, he's not going to be causing too much damage.
Forbes is trying to control but can't.
Forbes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Grundy on the ground.
Forbes is not content to let Grundy control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Grundy tries to pass the half guard into mount. Forbes knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Grundy is thwarting Forbes's attempts to control the position.
Grundy wants to lay and pray for a moment but Forbes keeps working.
Forbes flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Grundy fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Forbes closes the distance and pushes Grundy back into the cage.
Grundy tries for a takedown. No joy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Grundy moves out of range of the body kick from Forbes.
Grundy dives in and grabs Forbes's left leg, looking for a takedown. Forbes pushes down on Grundy's head and hops out.
Ambrose Forbes is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Forbes moves into the clinch.

Forbes pulls guard successfully.
Forbes is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Grundy won't allow Forbes to sweep him here.
Grundy trying to control the position from guard on top but Forbes is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Grundy is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Forbes has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Grundy is looking to defend but Forbes has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Grundy! Forbes pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Grundy taps out and this one is all over!
