The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Alyssa Summers and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Olsen has managed to clinch.
Olsen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Barkley fails to land the takedown.
Olsen moves into range and clinches up with Barkley.
Barkley is trying to pull guard but Olsen has him pressed against the cage.
Barkley could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Olsen effectively controlling the action here.
Olsen turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Barkley being controlled for a moment.
Olsen decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Olsen takes the fight into the clinch.
Olsen looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Olsen is defending well against a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tyson Barkley. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Olsen breaks from the clinch.
Barkley tries to close the distance and clinch up but Olsen swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Olsen lands with a cross.
Olsen has Barkley up against the cage in a clinch.

Olsen lunges at Barkley with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Barkley's hand.
Olsen lands a nice hook to Barkley's body. Barkley takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Barkley ducks right into an uppercut from Olsen.
It looks like Tyson Barkley has been cut.
A nice combination there by Olsen.
Barkley is breathing heavily.

A jab lands there for Olsen.
Barkley misses with a series of wild punches.
Barkley tries to clinch but Olsen moves out of range.
Olsen fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Barkley, pushing him back against the cage.
Olsen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Olsen scores with a three punch combo!
Barkley is rocked!
Barkley on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Olsen gets in close and tags Barkley with a short punch that almost sends Barkley to the mat! Oh Barkley is in big trouble! He turns his back on Olsen, trying to create some distance but Olsen rushes him, striking wildly and Barkley goes down! The referee tackles Olsen into the cage to end the fight! Olsen is one violent man!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nick Olsen!
