Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Amadeo Camara!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alf Konrad!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Russell Pearce and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Camara gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Konrad counters with a nice uppercut.
Konrad darts in and out, connecting with a jab.


It looks like Amadeo Camara has been cut.
Amadeo Camara seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Konrad lands a right hook to the body.
Konrad displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Camara.
Konrad looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Konrad leaves Camara with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Amadeo Camara. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Camara walks into a straight right hand from Konrad.

Camara bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Camara misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Camara looking to control but instead Konrad has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
Konrad has hold of Camara's hands but Camara slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Konrad is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Konrad looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Camara is looking to advance position but Konrad won't allow it.

Camara thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Camara thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Konrad's head.
Camara definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Camara not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Konrad is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Camara scores with a couple of nice shots.
Camara looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Konrad with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Konrad is staying active underneath Camara, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Camara lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Camara seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Camara is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Konrad is hurt! He's hurt bad - Camara fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Konrad from any more punishment! Congratulations to Camara! Great finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Amadeo Camara!
Amadeo Camara decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
Alf Konrad was interviewed post fight and said 'Thanks for coming...I'll be back'.
