And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, William Peck and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Columbo misses.
Khak looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Khak jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Khak throws a combination that misses
and Columbo counters with a three punch combo that has Khak backing up. Khak nods at Columbo to acknowledge the strikes.

and Columbo counters with a nice right hand that sends Khak toppling to the canvas! Khak scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Columbo finish him?!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Columbo avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
We've been told by Columbo's head coaches at Navy Street MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Columbo connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Khak covering up! Columbo comes in with a big uppercut and Khak goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Diego Columbo!
