Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dimochka Rasputin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank Martin!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Phil Schofield and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rasputin gets a clinch.
A nice left hand lands by Rasputin.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Rasputin creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Rasputin lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Martin takes a shot to the head.
Martin tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Rasputin smiles and moves away.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Martin has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Rasputin pushes Martin up against the cage in a clinch.
Rasputin lands a body shot.
Rasputin lands an uppercut.
Martin fails to pull guard.
A short body shot lands from Rasputin as the two fighters clinch.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Rasputin.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Martin tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Rasputin smiles and moves away.
Dimochka Rasputin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Martin.
The crowd cheers as Rasputin lands an impressive looking overhand right. Martin doesn't seem phased though.


It looks like Frank Martin has been cut.

Rasputin has Martin up against the cage in a clinch.
A hook to the body from Rasputin.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Martin jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Rasputin walks away with a smile on his face. Martin gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Rasputin scores with a jab to the body.
Martin looks winded!

Rasputin pushes Martin up against the cage in a clinch.
Rasputin makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Rasputin.
Rasputin lands a right hand that snaps the head of Martin backwards.
Rasputin lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Martin tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Rasputin smiles and moves away.
Martin fails with a takedown attempt.
Rasputin finds Martin's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Martin flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Rasputin lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Martin will be OK.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dimochka Rasputin!
Dimochka Rasputin tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
