Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Benny Alison (ranked 801 p4p, 107 weight class) and Frank Granger (ranked 1373 p4p, 174 weight class). Alison comes to the cage accompanied by The Greatest (I am). Granger has chosen Primal Concrete Sledge as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Granger connects with a body shot.
Frank Granger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Alison rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Granger moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Alison shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Granger scores with the left hand. Alison knows he should have avoided that one.
Granger lands with a shot to the body.
Alison looks to score with a jab to the body but Granger is just out of range.
Alison closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Alison takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Granger lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Granger sends Alison crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Granger is motioning to the referee to let Alison up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Granger uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Alison.

Granger misses with a hook. Alison ducked under it nicely.

Granger is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Alison had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Alison is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Granger.

Alison ducks under a wild hook from Granger.
Alison tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Granger was well out of range. Poor timing from Alison.
Alison takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Granger, as that shot connected.
Granger lands a big uppercut and Alison crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Alison looks OK. Granger waves Alison back to his feet!
Alison is rocked!
Granger might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Granger drops Alison with a big left hand! Alison is injured, injured bad! Granger jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!

Frank Granger spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
